Students mark First Aid Day with CPR and first aid class

September 26, 2024
Sutherland House School recently had a visit from Mini First Aid, as seen on the BBC show Dragon's Den, in recognition of World First Aid Day.
Our students learned how to do CPR, call 999 and were taught other basic first aid techniques that could be life-saving in an emergency such as treating wounds and applying bandages.
We're so proud of how our students rose to the challenge, with some students even remembering some of the techniques that they were taught when Mini First Aid visited us the year before.
Well done to all students that took part!
We absolutely love working with Autism East Midlands and the children wowed us again this year with their knowledge, willingness to try something new (and a little scary!) and enthusiasm. We hope we see them again next year.
